Complete and Utter Disappointment 2010-06-15 Wow...talk about a bad game...I wanted a Pacific War game so bad after taking a college course on it but this is the best PS3 has to offer...Wow..UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Not even worth talking about anymore... DONT BUY...EVER
good for the money 2010-02-17 I played this of and for a week or so, it is enjoyable, the only gripe is there too few levals, about 7 in total but for the money what can you exspect,I mean I would be hoping mad if it cost $30.00 or more but for $20.00 it is worth it, buy it for a little releaf no and again.
Certaintly not CoD5 2009-06-22 This is a fairly short, simple game. And it's not that good, so short is good in this case. It might as well be called 'Follow the Sergeant' because that is your job: Follow the Sergeant, through one boring mission after another. And never, ever stray too far or take time to be careful. You'll get left behind and die because you lost your beloved sergeant, who's constant admonitions of 'You will follow orders' really makes you want to shoot him. Oh, savor the first few minutes, where you are actually free to wonder around the trenches a bit, because it's the last time you'll be allowed on your own. Having said that, if you are a mediocre gamer, like myself, this is your chance for revenge. If you've had it handed to you over and over in MoH: Pacific Assault or CoD5, you can come here and reap your vengence. Difficulty settings apparantly meant nothing to the programmers. Hardcore gamers, however, will most likely find this game dull, though the last mission, Iwo Jima, is actually pretty good. It's hardly a deserving of the name but it is the best mission of the game. Hey I rhymed there. You should probably only get this game if you're really, really curious what it is like. That's why I bought it. Youtube tried to warn me and I ignored the warning. It's worth a couple of playthroughs but I can't honestly say it's worth buying at the current $20 price. In short, you're probably better off putting your money towards CoD5 if you want war in the Pacific. This one could probably be a Super Mario 3d game or something.
Nice game for a very reasonable price. 2009-06-22 I've got no complaints here! The price is good and it does a good job of providing entertainment for everyone. Both of my kids as well as several of their friends, who are history buffs have really enjoyed playing this game.
The fun war game 2009-06-02 I does not know why in this game is not more popular. It is hard to find other people on the Internet to play against but I am fortunate that my grandson has a copy so we battle. I think the game is fun can you get a large variety weapons. Maybe not as much fun as call of duty 4 but it is good sometimes have a little change. He did not have all the bells and whistles is some of the more expensive warnings that if you're just into shooter fun I think you would like this.
